
The study began by determining that the internal clock in an older mouse is 40% weaker than a younger one. The team from the University of Manchester then found that by adding regular exercise and eating, along with intervals of heating and cooling joints, they were able to reset the internal clocks of the mice and reduce symptoms. The results lasted for up to a week after the schedule had been eliminated
