Given how much more often cellphones are handled, this may not be too surprising, but it'd be nice to know if these are boring bacteria like S. aureus or exciting ones like V. cholerae: I'd expect that coliform bacteria are more likely to be found around toilets than on cellphones, although that depends on whether the cellphone's user is good at post-bathroom-usage hand-washing. (And for that matter, it's pretty likely that people who aren't careful about handwashing have much more exciting bacteria on both their toilets and their cellphones.)
