Watch baby frogs freakishly pop out of their mom’s skin
The Surinam toad might be the weirdest animal ever. Picture “roadkill frog” and you’re on the right track. Not only is the toad unusually flat (to blend in with leaves on the pond floor), but it has crazy gymnast sex and then squirts its babies out of its back like teeny spaceships.

World's Weirdest - Baby Toads Born from Mom's Back
WARNING: if you suffer from trypophobia, you will not sleep for days.
You'll need brain bleach. =))
I'm glad that I'm human in this moment =D
ReplyDeleteI don't know about that Corina Marinescu, human females generally have a fair amount of trauma with narrow birth canals that ostensibly haven't caught up with large baby head sizes. By comparison, this frog's skin appears to be only mildly stretched. But I guess you mean notionally it would be creepy to have a bunch of kids ejecting from your pores. Although, sort of like the Anthropic Principle, if we did give birth that way we'd probably find it less odd.
ReplyDeleteImagine having a lovely candle lit dinner and then suddenly, boink, a kid pops outta a pore from your nose. You'd have a little Monty Python moment - "Waiter, be a dear and pick that one up for me will yeah?" lol
Ummmm I have no idea what are you talking about Sean Walker =))
ReplyDeleteMy OBGYN rotation traumatized me...and I made a promise back then "no kids via "pores" or muscular tube " and so I had Matt via C section and with general anesthesia =))
As far as I know ..I went to sleep and voila I had a baby =D
I imagine you experienced some discomfort after the c-section? = (
ReplyDeleteAnd who wouldn't want the charming waiter moment sketched out!? Although I must say, realistically the candle lit dinner would likely precede the birth... lol
Compared with discomfort of contractions and expulsion...was a piece of cake =))
ReplyDeleteEwww...you should write a SCI- FI script =))
Before I write any scripts I need to learn to spell. I always get proceed and precede mixed up...
ReplyDeleteI see...so in order to write that script you need to listen to the voices inside your pores...true you need to pay attention and proceed =)
