For example the story line is very old school...and he uses words like philoxenia - which is love for the stranger :) Besides I like books based on history events, and this one is simply about stories around Alexander the Great during afghan campaign.
I have read the book, it made me feel like I was back in kabol again. Very good description of the people and how a solider works and navigates what is around him.
