The icy mountains of Pluto
Pluto has mountains made of ice that are as high as those in the Rockies, images from the New Horizons probe reveal.
They also show signs of geological activity on Pluto and its moon Charon.

Sometimes I wish they sent two probes... though I am sure there is a lot more information and images to come
ReplyDeletePlanets - well I suppose some people can fantasize on having sex with galaxies or black holes, but for me moons and (dwarf) planets are the largest scale of sexual objects I can imagine. The problem is then to accurately determine sex and sexual orientation of each planet. Pluto here looks like it hasn't been well-shaved, but that's not sufficient to sex it, is it?
