Well, since I know each face of the cube is the same-sized square and 3 squares meet at each corner. That's quite enough for me to name it a platonic solid... but thanks for additional info David.
True, according to the definition of platonic solid. But the notion of solid is clumsy ... redundant. Wire framing is sufficient representation of structural pattern.
This is yet another zoom-based animation loop that I'd want to compare with its time-reverse. Is it because it facilitates a fantasy of being in the pilot's seat that people prefer zooming in to zooming out?
A cube is properly recognized, structurally, as two concentric tetrahedra that are inverse to one another. Solid is a gross approximation.
