idiot = someone who is not interested in politics; yet the common conceptual understanding thereof is someone with lower level of abstraction; more likely to make mistakes.
ReplyDeleteidiot is a unfortunate state of being utterly mistaken about facts about the world. It's a state everyone find them self in occasionally and can be tricky to get out of. However, with a minimum of effort we can most often get out of it in reasonable time. Still there's no shortage of people that stay in the state, on multiple levels, indefinitely. It might help if the fact was pointed out more often but that is, unfortunately, by many considered rude.
