"I'm a collection of water, calcium and organic molecules..."
Some earthlings here on G+ are a bit irritated by my tagline. The below message disrupted my temple of creativity earlier.
Let's mark a point here:
I do not believe in gods, and other supreme beings but I do enjoy fairytales.
I like the unknown, I'm ok with walking on this rock not knowing the purpose of my suspension. I rather search and wonder till the end than live a lie.
I like that I'm fragile and mortal, makes my existence interesting. All is intensified by the limitation of time...and I like deadlines.
It is orgasmic to be here, right now, unbottons my wild desire for life.
It's by default magic but organic.
I like to make mistakes, I like dirty jokes, I like to explore human bodies and above all I like to break rules.
I believe in kindness and helping people, I believe in doing good and expect nothing in return.
On that note:
Screw heaven and immortality, angels and white unicorns...I want hot-humid fire, monsters and dark morbid nights.
I don't need salvation, I want to live intensely, wildly and inhale the moments through my pores.

I couldn't agree more!
ReplyDeleteIf being atheist is wrong, I don't wanna be right.
ReplyDeleteScience rules! (and save lives, for real).
Love it :)
ReplyDeleteThat kind of proselytizing is exactly what is wrong with religion. Believe what you want, but don't insist that others believe it too. It amazes me in particular that someone would even consider that an obviously thoughtful person such as Corina Marinescu would appreciate such a facile attempt at changing her basic beliefs.
ReplyDeleteWell-said Corina Marinescu, and I agree wholeheartedly.
ReplyDeleteBravo Corina!
ReplyDeleteWell said! No one could argue with those things!
ReplyDeleteIt's your curiosity, approach to life and mindset which are your best assets. You do certainly have a beautiful mind
ReplyDeleteWell said.
ReplyDeleteCorina Marinescu I couldn't have said it better :P
ReplyDeletedaniel rosca oh, of course people could argue with them! They'd be wrong, of course, but one can always be stubborn and argue.
ReplyDeleteJust ask my wife. :-)
Women always like to argue, is in our DNA.
ReplyDeleteAsserting your views...
ReplyDeleteOf course Sam
ReplyDeleteCorina Marinescu well, I meant......ask my wife about how stubborn and argumentative I can be, but I like your version more. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is a philosophy I can get behind!
ReplyDeleteYou are a goddess of organic molecules, soloubled in water Corina Marinescu :-)
ReplyDeleteJay Gerlach And the only way we can live on past death is to make sure that we impact the people that have observed us in such a way that they will remember the shining, luminescent intensity that was our life.
ReplyDeleteIt is not any intellectual being in you that is so important as it is the force of such that is so attractive...
ReplyDeleteThere's just no arguing with some people's delusions.
ReplyDeleteNice vibrations coming off those organic molecules.
ReplyDeleteI believe in kindness and helping people, I believe in doing good and expect nothing in return.
ReplyDeleteI believe & I agree.
Well written Corina Marinescu.
ReplyDeleteImagine how advanced the Homo sapiens would be if women would be allowed to do research in the name of science over the last thousand years? Instead, men and religion kept them back, and still do.
The answer to this mystery comes at the end Corina Marinescu ;-))
ReplyDeleteHolger Alexi what mystery? It's pretty simple: we die.
ReplyDeleteAnd what comes after dead? This we will know then.Smiles by Payet Family Dentistry
ReplyDeleteHolger Alexi nope, because we will be dead and gone.
ReplyDeleteHolger Alexi No. After death brain is not working. With the death ceases to exist our subjective universe. All our memory, emotions, experiences disappear. Without the living brain there is not a person. Nothing.
ReplyDeleteI understand human limitations, fear of death and unknown...hope that is someone/something out there who will protect you and guide you, I'm OK with spiritual creatures and even religious ones as long you don't try to convince me of your nonsense.
ReplyDeleteSee, I don't go around trying to convince people that god is a "placebo effect", I don't try to convince people that spirituality is a path you have to walk alone, a path that you need to understand it, feel it and carry with you.
Sheep effect has nothing to do with spirituality. To understand religion and spirituality you need to study history and question your persona.
Some of us are wired differently...I don't fear death, I see it like a finish line of my wonderful existence. Same like anything in the universe.
Corina Marinescu Your "live-and-let-live" approach is very admirable. In my experience, a person's attitudes and actions speak much louder than any proselytizing or reasoned argument ever could.
ReplyDeleteI rispect your opinion, but let me say: This is your limit!: la morte non 猫 la fine di tutte le cose! Noi siamo fatti di energia e come sai l'energia 猫 immortale! La domanda 猫: in futuro avremo la stampante giusta? Avevamo i cloni?
ReplyDeleteVince, cut it out! And I mean it!!
ReplyDeleteCorina Marinescu very well said.
Il bambino che eri sei tu oppure no? Il vecchio che sarai sei tu oppure no? L'unica cosa certa e che sei energia organizzata in continuo cambiamento.
ReplyDeleteVincenzo Sicari I do not understand your language. Translator given me some gibberish.
ReplyDeleteI understood so much, that we are energy. This is true. But the energy, as such, has no thought or structure. Physically energy is a scalar…
What we are refering as "I" is a temporary organization of forms of energy existence . Energy is the source and destiny of all that exists, but energy have not consciousness or mind. It is basic being, nothing more…
Nothing more...
