    The price of non-fossil-fuel energy is getting cheaper because the price of oil is down. When oil is cheaper, the price of everything goes down, because everything requires oil to manufacture, including solar panels and wind generators.

    Before moving to a 100% non-fossil-fuel energy generation system, I think it would be prudent to learn how to build some solar panels and wind generators without using any fossil-fuel energy at any point in the supply chain, manufacturing process, and delivery and installation.
