Paris Climate Accord

Paris Climate Accord
If Trump does indeed pull the U.S. from the deal, the country will join Syria and Nicaragua as the only nations not to ratify the historic accord.

Not sure what's much more ridiculous ...expecting god to "take care of" climate change if it proves to be a "real problem" or being ignorant and dismiss all the facts.

Anyways, read how a Republican Congressman Says God Will 'Take Care Of' Climate Change:

  2. I like to hope we are heading towards a sustainable future, with greater use of renewable technology. I believe long term, if energy generation is more distributed, there is less dependence on large corporations for our energy needs. Hopefully this is just a 'blip' and only a minor set back. After all, burning fossil fuels also pollutes the air, which is bad for our general health.

When at work, our homes can help provide the electricity, which can be used by business and regular people. When at home, the workplace could also generate electricity for us. There may be no solar power, but the wind blows regardless of time of day and geothermal is always there.

  3. James the reason why prices lower is because demand is dropping. Eventually oil producing countries will be swimming in cheap oil because no one needs it anymore. With EU going viral with renewable energies, we are taking wide steps away from oil dependency. Better than this is that renewable energies are becoming so affordable (for individuals) that the dependency on utilities (which are still a strong arm of big oil) will eventually crumble too.

  5. We live in an age of post-truth – when the ignorant imbeciles seem to have enough "opinions" to become the "voice of the people".

What time is it? It's time of irresponsible propaganda of nonsense and praise of their own stupidity. It takes them so much pleasure, that they fall in narcissistic love with themselves. If the facts do not fit – the worse for the facts… They will tell anything, even obvious lie, just to arouse own emotions and emotions of other people. But nonsense is still nonsense, lies still are lies and fools still are fools…

Glaciers, all over the world, are melting – revealing naked rocks. Ocean levels rise, flooding low areas. This is not about the ice floating in the water – it's about the glaciers on land. They disappear on our eyes. Alps Mountains becomes nude – stripped from glaciers, and new lakes appear instead ice. Coral reefs are dying, because the waters are too warm and the ocean is to deep for this organism. More and more extreme weather is happening – because the whole system is out of balance. Plants and animals disappear, and warmth-loving species fall into place on circumpolar areas.
Moreover, the greatest intensity of these phenomena occur in the period of the lowest activity of the Sun. Our planet receives a smaller stream of energy, but become warmer, and warmer. The heat stay in atmosphere and in oceans.
And in the depths of the waters and beneath the ice of Siberia lurks a methane monster. When this methane will be released into atmosphere – the Earth will change. It will change so much, that there will no longer be the chance of survival of the human race. Because that's what it is… Not to save mythical "Mother Nature" – but to preserve the conditions in which people will be able to live. Of course, life will survive anyway – just as survived the great extinction at Permian period. At that time also too much carbon dioxide was released after the burning of coal deposits. This event killed 95% of living organisms, and oceans – dominated by sulfuric bacteria – became toxic pink.

What time is it? It's time for action… We know what causes warming in our days. We know the causes of this phenomenon and described its mechanism. We also calculated a positive correlation, between human activity and the progress of this problem. We also know how humanity can slow this – to reduce negative impact on us. We know that fossil fuels are running out. And yet they are valuable raw material, which we should use – but not just burn.

Human civilization caused a fire. But fools, instead of extinguish it, pour petrol into the fire screaming that it is not their fault.

    Fools…

  6. I don't know the particular nuances of the agreement so it's hard to say. In my town we used to be able to recycle glass aluminum cardboard etc and get a small amount of money for it. Now they offer curbside recycling but we have to pay extra for it... All in the name of this sacred cow. It seems at worst it should be free. In fact if you leave steel or aluminum out it won't last the day before some enterprising individual will take it in themselves
