  2. Corina Marinescu what? I'm asking if the cells and the needle are to scale, if their sizes are proportional

  4. I was curious about the scale as well, but it's just the cover of a music album. Not scientifically accurate, I'd say :P

  5. Yes the album name is " red blood cells under an electron microscope"

  6. Corina Marinescu so you're saying they ARE to scale?

  7. AHA! My curiosity finally paid. I found this image: http://media.techeblog.com/images/thing-electron-microscope.jpg I think it's a real electron microscope photograph of a syringe with blood

  8. Good job Diego, how about that cover album? :)

  9. I think it's art, probably based on real photography of needle and blood cells. But I couldn't find reliable information anywhere, except that the credits of the cover go to a person named Steve Gschmeissner which has an extensive microscopic photography portfolio.

  11. Yes, I'm guessing it's art. The scale is very different from the other picture I posted, which I'm guessing is not a montage.

  12. This is a SEM image. The only question is....magnification?

  13. I've seen this exact same needle with other things coming out of it, that's why I suspect it's a montage of different SEM images.
