
Amazing images of an intracranial mass extending into the skull.
This was a meningioma with osseous extension. Metastasis, hemangiopericytoma or plasmacytoma could produce a similar appearance. The vascular anatomy was important to define in this case not only because of the superior sagittal sinus invasion, but also in planning for pre-operative embolisation.
