Possibly replying to David's message and clearing things out would be a solution. I never met a schizo in real life, but we've all certainly read posts online, where people say all sorts of weird stuff that can make them look quite scary at times. It's just different when you post stuff from the safety of your room than when you talk face to face.
Nothing to fear from the ones that talk poop, its the silent lurkers who say nothing and hide in the shadows, those are the ones for which to worry. The talkers are just BS'ers. Like Kuba Rychlik stated, face to face the talkers change and run.
Perhaps it could be some attempt at inferring an aphorism regarding supernatural phenomenalism? As in, perhaps he meant it better than it is being taken?
