
Suicidality test being brought to market
The U.S. company Sundance Diagnostics has licensed genetic markers that predict suicide risk when antidepressant drugs are prescribed. The new test, based on research carried out at the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry, should help doctors to decrease the risk of suicidality in patients treated with antidepressants who show certain gene markers.

Kiril Minanov This test is for patients who are being monitored by psychiatrists, etc. I also hope this test will help to prevent suicide in the military. Not all the minds can cope with trauma. This test for sure will not prevent random suicide.
