Yeah that's why scared me...at the end they show the real people. I had to check by myself to see if they really existed...ugh Not good to watch such movies when you're sleep deprived ;)
I couldn't watch this movie in the theater! I'm extremely jumpy :D Even the DVD I watched in parts, during the day, with windows open! This definitely makes my top 10 scary movies..
That was an impeccable choice of movie for the holidays Corina. It's interesting how the mind works re: of fears and reactions to scary movies. When I was a teen I was very affected by horrors. Now they pretty much never affect me. However The Descent really got to me about 5 years ago when I watched it tired and alone in the dark one evening, when my wife and son were were off for their yearly summer trek to japan. I think perhaps it was the claustrophobic elements in the movie, but I was probably just being a wimp! ;) Actually, apropos of my comment on your last post, the movie Jeepers Creepers got to me too, more claustraphobia I think.
Show me a scary movie and at the end ..tell me was based on true events. Really now...they could have said it before, I don't watch other people schizo-events! =)
Anthony Hopkins was in the Exorcist!? Damn I have a bad memory... Perhaps there was a remake or something? (I liked Anthony Hopkins in The Lion In Winter - the dialog of that movie is just friggen awesome and the characters wondefully fleshed out by a stellar cast - but I digress...)
OTG! (Oh their God!) People, I enjoy Corina's posts for their reason, rationality, science and enlightenment - please no more with the serious conservations about poltergeists etc! It's painful to watch a good thing sullied...
Which movie is this Corina Marinescu?
ReplyDeleteThe Conjuring
ReplyDeleteThought I had seen this scene somewhere ;)
