Special Relativity
What would everyday life look like if the speed of light was very slow? According to Einstein’s theory of Special Relativity, moving objects would be Lorentz contracted. Moving objects would also appear distorted if light arriving from one part of the object was emitted at a different instant in time than light arriving from another part. And the Doppler effect would cause approaching objects to look more blue and receding objects to look more red.
