ReplyDeleteIn case there is any confusion, people should be aware this is not an autonomous robot. A surgeon is remotely controlling the machine from a console. It is a very impressive system, but still human operated. You can see the consoles and the machine in this image:

Certainly pricy, hopefully it is worth it, but I expect it is reserved for those who pay the highest insurance premiums
