Socialpaths are drawn to self-interest and power. A Nazi taking a bribe to let a Jew escape certain death may do so not because he is an Oscar Schindler type humanitarian but because he is a Socialpath . I've read that Mother Theresa was actually a very cold and selfish woman toward people who worked for her.
ReplyDeleteWho knows how Ann Frank's view of humanity would have evolved, had she lived long enough; perhaps she would have thought of "good" people as chumps to be exploited.
Perhaps. I guess we'll never know.
