The ATLAS experiment has recently reported the results of its search for narrow resonances decaying into WW, WZ, or ZZ boson pairs during the Large Hadron Collider's second run. A bump at 2 TeV could be the first sign of a new particle, but its significance at 2.5 standard deviations is too low to count as a detection.
