When TBI first coming out I noticed a change in military helmet design. My old "fritz" style Kevlar helmet never had much padding. It was only the Airboure soldiers helmets that had a primitive form of padding. With the newer "Mitch" Kevlar helmet it came with a full set of energy absorbing pads that was great to cushion the skull when hit. Not that I ever field tested this out myself being 6ft plus and always bumping into everything low hanging.
