David Chako That's what I usually retort to militants of Boileau's word, Ce que l'on conçoit bien s'énonce clairement, et les mots pour le dire arrivent aisément (Whatever is well conceived is clearly said, And the words to say it flow with ease.)
-- that it's really arguing for easy-to-parrot expressions. I gather Bohr's quip alludes to a similar idea.
I prefer to be vague but people keeps asking me to elaborate. So I have to repeat myself all the while loosing my train of thought. I miss the old college days when I could say one sentence and it would convey a text book of thoughts. Heck when I was 5 years-old I hated to speak. I was wondering why we couldn't communicate with just our minds. My sister and I do this all the time. Oh wait… did I just type that out loud? Now the guys wearing lab coats are going to take us away again.
Was it Bohr who made the scale about how hard things are? Checks google) nevermind, I'm think of someone else
