31st December is reserved to "Calvin and Hobbes"
I am late again, but since I'm a fan of C&H, I have to mention this ;)
On December 31, 1995, the very last syndicated Calvin and Hobbes comic strip ran in over 2000 different newspapers, ending a run that had lasted 10 years.

I like the way he shows the imagination of Calvin, even altering the art style in some strips

Wow you're looking very beautiful sweetie love your posts
ReplyDeleteI read along with C&H in the newspaper originally. I mourn them to this day. I had a hobbes of my own although I simply named him "tiger" and I still regret bowing to external pressure to "grow up" and throwing him away to prove I wasn't a baby. ~sigh~ Never make your kid throw out that raggedy first toy. Never.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Corina! Did you know Bill Watterson looks like Calvin's dad? Except Mr. Watterson has a mustache. 😀
