Many years ago, one of the flavors of the BSD operating system had a program called 'rain' that did this in text-based graphics. When it was running on all the terminals in a room, it was oddly soothing to watch.
This was before people felt a need for computer security, Hudson Ansley, so you could redirect your screen output to any terminal in the room. Any neat display you liked could suddenly be the subject of every monitor in sight.
How do you get your gifs to play so smoothly on the Android version of G+? When I upload gifs, they appear fine on the desktop but very choppy on the Android version
