ReplyDeleteI'd love a robot watch dog. His doghouse has his charging port and he's scheduled to do somewhat randomized inspections of the yard with whatever sensors possible, probably infrared would be enough. If he sees pre-programmed objects such as persons or animals, he notifies the owner's cell phone. You could teach him to recognize some, such as the residents and guests. Anyway, it offers the owner control and direct video and sound. So then you could talk to the intruder through your robot dog and possibly have it equipped with defense like bear spray or taser. You then have choices to call police or go over there yourself, etc. if the intruder remains. You can also submit video footage to police of the intruder for followup.
