Here, a set of cat lungs is inflated with a straw. Comprised of hundreds of millions of microscopic air sacks called aveoli, Mammalian lungs harbor air capacity that is difficult to believe unless seen. The color of the entire organ lightens into a soft pink, as each microscopic sac fills with air.
Beautiful, the body is amazing
ReplyDeletepredicted: sombody coming and say that this is cruel.
ReplyDeleteI don't see anything cruel, a cat died and we have the opportunity to study her lungs.
ReplyDeleteBesides, this is a medical community not the animals/humans rights group support.
Corina Marinescu You can count on humans to be stupid but not smart. That's why I'm making this prediction.
ReplyDeleteCan I call you Nostradamus now Cedar Ren ? =)
ReplyDeleteCorina Marinescu But I am neither French nor writing books.... and I, rather tha making a big deal about "seeing", etc. , admit that I predict from common sense.
ReplyDeleteZoe Prytherch take a look at this.
ReplyDeletemarvellous demonstration
ReplyDeleteThank you
ReplyDeleteso cool!!
ReplyDeleteoh great, it just HAD to turn into a debate about whether there is a intelligent Creator in the universe.
ReplyDeleteCan't it merely be a video of a biological process, instead to the "no-God"ers stomping around and "proving" things to the "God"ers ?
...tiresome!
I love google+ for the science posts you find here but the people who use it as a platform to try to sound intelligent or witty is such a turn off. Corina posts awesome stuff and I look forward to seeing it every day - but then I cringe when I read the comments that follow. It's always the same story - a few posts that are relevant and then a bunch from some guy who took an undergraduate sociology class and starts critiquing the human race.
ReplyDeletemichelle salyer In fact, I didn't eve take that. Criticize me and prove my point ha!
