I think.

I think... if it is true that there are as many minds as there are heads, then there are as many kinds of love as there are hearts.
L. Tolstoy

  1. My mind continually races which makes it hard for me to sleep at night. I have to resort to some sort of adult beverage to distract my mind enough to nod off.

  2. I have the same problem Captain Jack , for now I'm sticking with the  floating therapy, see how effective it is ;)

  4. I'm feeling exceptionally dumb...
I can't connect the quote with the picture or the idea of a sleepless mind.  =(  I think it's probably severe left-brainitis? The latter two fit but not the quote.

  5. Oh jeez, thanks Sean Walker. I only read the small caption on the pic rather than the quote from Tolstoy. Oops

  6. Sean Walker ...Does your heart have a mind? Does your mind have a core?
A wandering mind is a sleepless mind;)
I can always prescribe a left lobe extension for your brainitis.

  7. Okay, I think I understand now. The normal heart trope - a metaphor for an inner or core part of mind. Tolstoy's angle of a different mind for every head and so a love for every heart got my brain spinning. Thanks, now I can sleep well - no mystery to ruminate about. ;)
Now about that brain extension prescription, if there are no side effects...
