I rarely like poetry...mostly because people expressing in rhymes bore me. I like other types of books..which sew my brain and edit my soul.
However..now and then some rhymes tickle my synapses with authenticity. LH is one of those, because his words are realistic and authentic and less fancy and juicy.
So, for me  1.02.2014 = Langston Hughes Day

  1. Poems don't necessarily have to rhyme, but like novels and art, it is completely subjective. Variety makes things interesting

  7. Some people express in rhymes, probably because rhymes 'tickle' their synapses too, while dry numbers and logic just plainly bore them.
Then again, that's what makes the variety of people around us interesting. Diversity of all those minds
