This 3D animation is part of a latest cancer vaccine research and was produced in multiple language formats.
This video explores breast cancer and how it can travel through the circulatory system to other parts of the body such as brain, skin, lung, liver, and bone.
Breast cancer is a malignant tumor that starts in the cells of the
breast. A malignant tumor is a group of cancer cells that can grow into (invade) surrounding tissues or spread (metastasize) to distant areas of the body. Breast cancer is the top cancer in women both in the developed and the developing world. The incidence of breast cancer is increasing in the developing world due to increase life expectancy, increase urbanization and adoption of western lifestyles.
