Don't Feed Ducks!
I wrote about this a year back so one more time...bread’s not great for a duck’s health as it’s nothing like their natural diet so don’t overfeed them with large quantities of it.
Try to vary what you give them and swap it for healthier more natural treats like oats, corn, or defrosted frozen peas.

How about the ducks that learn to fish with bread?
ReplyDeleteUmmm... indeed foie gras is the diseased and enlarged liver of a duck or goose, produced through force feeding...simply gross in my opinion. And we don't have to agree on all the subjects David Hallowell, after all less is more ;)

ReplyDeleteBut of course bread isn't good for them. I always feed ducks frosted peas while I stuff my face with sweets and glazed doughnuts. Lolz

ReplyDeleteIn Bagdad there were the ducks and fish that got fed each morning by everyone going to work at Al-Faw. It became a normalizing ritual that kept us sane. Hungry little guys
