This sounds nice and good, but attribution to Buddha is wrong. Buddha-type of religions strive for valence neutrality through times; one can find a logic behind this approach through the recent trend of 'emotional intelligence' writings.
Corina Marinescu This is a commonly known adage of people whom have lived and experienced the Easter ethos. The poster has likely co-mingled the Compassion emotion (low valence) with the Love emotion (high valence). Our Western cultural perspective is different than the Eastern perspective.
