  2. This is not about underlying kindness in humans or other creatures. Is about underlying the need to survive in a world of human monsters. History shows that humans are capable of limitless cruelty.

  3. That's why I think it is far better to be kind than cruel. There is enough suffering in the world as it is, as an individual you can make a difference, even though it may be small, by being kind. People can try to take advantage of that, so you can suffer for it.
