  1. When I played a lot of poker, I taught myself how to control the size of my pupils. One of the "tells" (body language observations) that people use to figure out if you have a good hand is involuntary pupil dilation. Being able to force my pupils to dilate was extremely useful when bluffing.

  3. I've been wanting to learn how to control the dilation of my pupils, not for poker, but because my eyes are light sensitive. It's really painful to walk outside without sunglasses, and polarized lenses. Also, if I do make the mistake of doing that, I can end up with a migraine or something equally fun, a bit like an ice pick trying to drive my left eye out of its socket. (sorry if that was graphic, the point is that it hurts, a lot.)

  4. Brian Turner I practice in a mirror for a few weeks to get full control, but you get results on the first day if you are willing to change your focal point (look 100 miles past the mirror, then look back at the reflection.) Just takes practice.
