  1. I see your point, Dan Hirsch, but on the hand, why make such a big difference in treating other animals and ourselves? Only because we hold weapons and they don't..

  2. Dan Hirsch Except that abortion is great to have available. As for a man, it depends on who is being beheaded. Rand Paul, maybe? Mike Huckabee? Choose someone.

  3. Tobias KunersofKoenders why not?
Zaine Ridling it´s also great to have fried chicken available! (The chickens milage may vary though!)

  6. I know two beautiful people by person who woulnd´t be alive if their parents had heeded the advice the doctors had given... so you may understand, that I would urge anybody to think twice befor making a decision in favor of abortion...

  7. When you behead a man, he/she already is a developed, conscious human being, possibly has a family, circle of friends, etc. Depriving him/her of life has a ripple effect that affects it all, and more.

Aborting a partially formed fetus that has no consciousness is nowhere near anything like it.

As for beheading chickens... You might as well argue that swatting a fly is a crime

  8. And I've seen and treated a lot of abused women Dan Hirsch . Some of them got pregnant by rapists, some got pregnant by their dad's/uncles/brothers..etc
Abortion is necessary, also is necessary when we form an opinion to really see the entire picture...not just one corner.

  9. Corina Marinescu that's very sad. I'm very sorry for your abused patients and see your point about abortion. God bless those people.

  10. Sad indeed Rob Tedesco but this is life...in order to survive you need to adapt.

  11. A child not born. A thought not explored. An evolutionary path not taken. The choices of the parts of our decision trees of life, and our unique reality -- they may be good, they may be bad, depending on how our outcome compares to all potential alternative outcomes... and that is always something to consider before making a big decision...

(Seems like we don't yet live in a multiverse, we live in a single universe with only one history to experiment with... But what imagination gives us -- is the ability to get a glimpse of multiverse before making decisions...)

  12. I love George Carlin and I do support the right for a woman to choose.. but omelettes are generally made of unfertilized eggs so the comparison isn't really valid. Then again I guess comparing it to eating balut wouldn't quite have the result George was looking for ;)

  13. Ummm ...that was a humorous comparison Anders Öhlund ;) The idea behind the silly comparison was that women have the right to choose. Want a much silly comparison?

  14. Corina Marinescu Yes another privilige for women. They can pleasure themselves without the heavy burden of millions upon millions of lives on their conscience. It truly is a heavy burden being a man. ;)
Indeed sometimes we can wake up only to realize in horror that we've committed mass murder in our sleep! ;)

  15. You know we could debate all day long about the nature and composition of male ejaculation Vs female ejaculation...I stick with what I said, but just to make it clear  you kill between 40 million - 1.2 billion sperm cells in a single ejaculation.

  16. It's time to read the book, "Make Room! Make Room!" By Harry Harrison, and no, I didn't make the author's name up...

  17. Shane holgate, nobody in this comment thread has denied that abortion comes with a price. But you cannot legislate values or common sense. Outlawing abortion will not slow or stop then from occurring just as the death penalty does not stop or slow murder from occurring in or neighborhoods. We have to start at home...and when we've succeeded, then it cease to be a topic of conversation.
