The Wallace-Bolyai-Gerwien theorem states that any two polygons of equal area can have one cut into finite pieces and rearranged into the second.

That theorem sounds intuitive enough to count as a challenge to come up with a simple proof of it. Note that the animations constrain the rearrangements to involve hinged corners keeping things connected, which is more than what the theorem directly states.
