HERMES

HERMES
The vast majority of humans are brilliant. We’re particularly incredible however at balancing, problem solving and naturally understanding forces. Robots on the other hand have a fair way to go on that front.
This robot is designed to take use of human reflexes to solve tasks through a novel interface. Including complex things such as punching walls, smashing things and generally balancing against forces.

  1. I can imagine sending these on space missions, for example, to Mars and asteroids. Operated remotely to repair (JWST, ISS), dig, collect samples etc. First 'manned' mission to Mars could be a robot based on this technology

  2. Now all that's left is to equip it with a knife and just a little AI.
