  1. Almost good enough to share, but the inclusion of accupressure as quackery makes it inconsistent with my direct experience.  Had ankylosing spondylitis; f'ed up my spine pretty bad; nothing could fix it; doctors told me it could never be fixed.  It is 80% fixed now, after three years of hard core deep tissue painful as heck accupressure twice per week.  And that is not possible to fake, let me tell you -- anyone who knew me four years ago and sees me today is utterly shocked with the improvement.  But:  not just any old run of mill stuff, so don't go out and arbitrarily find and use any old accupressurist.  Most of them are more or less quacks.  But there is something to it, and I have investigated the theory behind it enough, as a result of my experience, to see how it makes sense.  Cheers!

  3. Me neither re ethanol.

That individuals differ is not particularly well modeled in medicine yet.  Sometime if it comes up I'll tell you why accupressure works.  There is the glimmer of an interesting physiological theory underpinning it, however occluded by millennia of quackery.

And now I have to find another sign off.
