  3. Nandlal Shah that is the paradox. I wonder, what percentage of that storage is used to try to contain all the emotional pain we suffer, all the hurtful things that we see, hear, do to others and are done to ourselves?

The reason why I ask is because, trying to contain this pain also continuously uses processing power that could be used elsewhere.

When humanity as a critical mass, stop living in fear and just get on with their lives, there may be a very strong possibility that we will then have the capacity to make massive breakthroughs in all sciences.

  9. How do they estimate this? Do we know for ex that a memory that would take up say 1mb on a harddrive would take up the same space in our brains? Excuse my eng!

  10. Joan Laine as much as i hate to say it, i belive fear is much needed for our evolution.

  11. Hacki Elzein I agree that fear is needed for our survival, otherwise we wouldn't know that it is not good to walk in front of a moving bus.

I challenge your statement though that it is needed for our evolution. Human beings have not evolved for 100 000's of years. I'm not a scientist though, so would you care to elaborate please?
