28 April is reserved to Hertha Marks
Hertha Marks Ayrton was an award-winning English engineer, mathematician, inventor and physicist,  best known for her ground-breaking work on electric arcs and sand ripples. 
Born in Portsea, Hampshire on 28 April 1854, she studied at Girton College, Cambridge, and registered 26 patents for mathematical divders, arc lamps and electrodes between 1884 and her death in 1923.
