No worries, for the most part they are completely harmless and can fade over time. They are caused by the normally gel-like vitreous humor becoming slightly liquefied.

  1. i remember laying on my back as a child and squinting up at an empty sky and watching these thousands of 'floaters' moving about on my eyes...every time i blinked they would be rearranged.... it was fun...
    i can still do it today... but i never have the time...hahahahh
